I highly recommend Lisa. She helped all three of my sons develop and finalize their college application essays. All three were accepted at every college they applied to. Lisa is an excellent editor. Each essay is guaranteed to be grammatically correct with content clearly and concisely communicated. More importantly, she has an intuitive ability to not only figure out which essay topic should be chosen, but then to help each student see how their life experience fits with that essay topic. She starts with the student’s ideas then elevates them to meet the high expectations of college admissions offices. She does this by generating interesting discussions with each student as she genuinely desires to know him. In those discussions, she skillfully questions him so he wrestles with his own thoughts and experiences until he has developed a rich narrative that allows the reader to understand him and appreciate what he would bring to a student population. She is an expert at drawing out critical details that should be included in each essay while ensuring the student retains his voice in the piece.
