Lisa S. Koo received her B.A. in English from Pomona College and a J.D. from UCLA School of Law. After working at law firms in California and Ohio, she stepped away to homeschool her two children. Her oldest son, a National Merit Finalist and a Davidson Young Scholar, will graduate from Carnegie Mellon University (Class of 2024) with a major in computer science and a minor in chemistry. Her younger son, who was a member of a high school chamber music quartet that won national awards, is a Division III soccer player at Ohio Wesleyan University where he is majoring in business administration and music performance. Since her time as an undergraduate, Lisa has helped students brainstorm, write, and edit their college, graduate school, and high school application essays. She is passionate about education and loves helping others.
